Hootsuite.com
I have been looking for a product, program, website, application or anything else that would help me manage my multiple twitter accounts. After searching around and asking people on twitter what migt be good I focused in on 2 products. Hootsuite.com was the first I saw through google searches.
Let’s dig right in:
Hootsuite.com:
Hootsuite.com features a way to manage multiple twitter accounts in a single easy to manage website. They added a feature today that allows you to send the same post to multiple accounts at once. Sign up was a little slow for me but once you are signed up its a straight forward site to use.
The best feature of hootsuite.com is the tweetbox. Its located at the top of the interface and makes it really fast to update your tiwtter accounts. You can select 1 or all of you accounts to post a tweet. You can schedule tweets to be send at later times.
I also like the statistics you get when post tweets using the ow.ly URL shortener.
Things I think could be improved:
I wish the list of tweets were inside of an area that scrolled so you never loose track of the menus and that the menus lived in more of a side bar menu and less of a top tab system.
Overall: HootSuite.com is a ton better today thenit was even 3 days ago when i started testing it out. Also seems like it will continue to grow and update. Its easy to use, easy to update and i feel is a great solution for multiple accounts or even just one.
Oh and a nice feature is the HOOLET. It’s a quicklink to a quick tweet page that opens in a small popupwindow from your favorite browser.
Now if only we had matching iphone app.
