Bailouts & Bullshit
Out of all the money grubbing, executive over paying, rediculously rich benefiting bailouts there is a group I feel deserves a bailout more then the car industry. It is a group that helps to fill the houses in the USA with music.
The piano dealers in the US are hurting. Hundreds of dealers are closing their doors every month. My dad has work his ass off for 30 years and seen the best and the worst of the industry. But he has been honest, humble and done everything by the book. And his reward for paying his taxes, reporting all his income and standing by his word for his customers is a big nothing from the US government.
We are bailing out Car Manufacturers, WHY? they screwed this stuff up. They are the ones who have failing business models and are making cars that are bad for their consumers and the environment. They pay their executive ridiculous amounts of money and they fly around in their private jets. And they want 40 Billion Dollars to bail them out. Screw them. The banks that have been bailed out, what are they doing for the communities they are profiting from? What are they doing to better the world?
The piano dealers in the USA like my dad ( www.worldwidepiano.com ) would benefit from a bail out too. But its not coming.I feel very cheated, very angry about the way the government is tossing our tax dollars around. My Dads business may very well close. And his contribution to Dallas has been huge. He has donated pianos to Schools, charities, churches. He has made space for music teachers to have concerts for their hard working students at no charge. He has done so many incredible things for Dallas and now its time Dallas or the US gave back to all like him.
Why bail out the whores of industry who got themselves into the mess they are in.
Time to start taking care of the honest hard working Americans who deserve a break.
